Pond Bacteria and Water Garden Cleaner Safe for Koi Fish and Plants

Microbe-Lift/PL Bacteria is a 100-Percent natural, safe, and beneficial bacteria formulated to work in water garden ponds. It will not harm fish or plants and has a 3-5 year shelf life. This bacteria reduces ammonia and nitrogen levels, mitigating noxious odors caused by algae, fish waste, rotting leaves, and other debris. Additionally, it helps curb the larvae of water-breeding insects like flies and mosquitoes, creating a healthier pond environment that promotes faster fish growth.

Microbe-Lift/PL Bacteria helps break down existing algae and reduces new algae blooms, improving dissolved oxygen levels and dissolving away organic sludge and slime. To use, simply pour the bacteria into the pond, following the basic application rates chart on the bottle. The first application will require a larger amount, followed by four weekly treatments using a lesser amount, and then once per month thereafter as a maintenance program.

WATER CLARIFIER: Microbe-Lift/PL treatment clears cloudy water in ponds and lagoons by promoting flocculation and settling of organic and inorganic particles. Note that you may see buildup on one side of the bottle, so shake well before adding to your pond.

SWEETER SMELLS: Microbe-Lift/PL creates an appealing water feature by lessening odors caused by dead algae, fish waste, and urine. It acts to control hydrogen sulfide, which creates strong, offensive odors, and it reduces ammonia nitrogen levels to clean the pond.

IMPORTANT NOTES: Microbe-Lift/PL is effective over a wide range of pH conditions and continues its cleaning activity even in water temperatures under 55°F or 12°C. It is safe to use around people and pets and can treat an 80-gallon pond for up to 11 months (see chart for application guidance).
