The Pond Guy AllClear G2 Bio Pressure Filter & UV Clarifier for Koi Fish Ponds

The Pond Guy AllClear G2 Pressurized Filtration System is designed to provide comprehensive water purification for ponds, combining advanced ultraviolet clarification with highly efficient mechanical and biological filtration. Engineered in Germany exclusively for The Pond Guy, this multistage filtration process ensures crystal-clear, healthy pond water all season long.

The filtration begins with a high-output, energy-efficient 9-watt UV clarifier. As the water enters the filter chamber, it is exposed to the powerful UV light, which works to eliminate suspended algae and other microscopic pollutants. This prepares the water for the next stage of filtration.

Inside the filter chamber, a series of alternating low- and high-density filter media pads trap debris, organic waste, dead algae, and other particulates. Importantly, these filter pads also provide an ideal habitat for beneficial bacteria to thrive. These good bacteria break down harmful ammonia and nitrates, further improving water quality and supporting the health of aquatic life.

For easy maintenance, the AllClear G2 features a convenient backflush system. When it's time to clean the filter, simply remove the backflush cap, turn the dial to the cleaning position, and lift the easy-clean handle. This compresses the filter media, forcing out accumulated debris, which is then flushed out through the waste outlet. Once the backflush water runs clear, the filter is ready to return to normal operation.

The AllClear G2 is suitable for both new pond builds and existing water features, including koi ponds, water gardens, and outdoor fish ponds. Available in three flow rate capacities (2000, 3500, and 4500 GPH), there is an appropriate model for ponds ranging from 2000 to 4500 gallons.

For optimal integration and discreet installation, the filter can be partially buried in the ground, with only the access lid exposed. To further camouflage the unit, an optional AllClear Rock Cover is available.

Beyond ponds, the AllClear G2 is also well-suited for large aquariums, fish tanks, aquagardens, aquaponics systems, and indoor fish or turtle enclosures.
